Pebuu Hands Over 52 Motorcycles to Its Field Supervisors in the South Western Region

Kampala, Uganda – October 02nd 2024

In a significant move to enhance operational efficiency and field supervision, Pebuu Limited has handed over 52 brand-new motorcycles to its field supervisors in the South Western region of Uganda. The official handover ceremony took place in Mbarara, where Pebuu executives, local stakeholders, and the recipient field supervisors gathered to witness this milestone. Speaking at the event, John Paul Ssemyalo, CEO of Pebuu Limited, emphasized the company’s commitment to empowering its field teams with the necessary tools to optimize their performance.

“Our field supervisors are the backbone of our operations. By equipping them with motorcycles, we are not only increasing their mobility but also enhancing their ability to monitor agents effectively, provide timely support, and ensure smooth service delivery in even the most remote areas,” he stated.

The South Western region has been a strategic focus for Pebuu, given its vast geography and the increasing demand for financial inclusion and agent banking services. One of the recipients, Rogers Nyesiga, a field supervisor from Kabale, expressed his gratitude, highlighting how this initiative will enhance productivity and service reach.

“This is a game-changer for us. Previously, accessing agents in hard-to-reach areas was a challenge. With these motorcycles, we can now be more effective in providing on-ground support and ensuring seamless operations,” he remarked.
